The standard state of a stage is what tells Sendocki “this stage means confirmed” or “this stage means delivered”. It’s what feeds your indicators and triggers your automations. You can modify it at any time — here’s how, and what to know before.Documentation Index

When to adjust a stage?
Three typical cases:You chose the wrong state at the start
For example, a “Validated” stage associated with “New” when it should be “Confirmed”.
Your operational flow has evolved
A stage that served for tracking now becomes a full confirmation stage.
You want to specify a reason
A “Cancelled” stage without reason — you now want to specialize it as “Cancelled — customer refusal”.
What changes after adjustment
From the moment you validate the change:- New orders going through this stage are counted in the new state.
- Linked automations (stock, carrier, indicators) follow the new state.
- Orders already present on this stage are also reclassified in the new state.
The history of orders that have already transited through this stage in the past is not modified — your old reports remain unchanged.
Adjust a stage — step by step
Change the standard state
In the stage form, choose the new standard state (and reason if applicable).
Read the impact preview
Sendocki displays how many orders are currently on this stage and would be affected by the change.
Sensitive cases — what to know
You change the state of a stage linked to stock
You change the state of a stage linked to stock
If the stage was the stock deduction stage (Settings → Stock), make sure to update this configuration in parallel, otherwise your stock movements might no longer match your flow.
You remove the standard state from a stage (leave it empty)
You remove the standard state from a stage (leave it empty)
The stage becomes a purely logistical stage. No automation triggers, no indicator takes it into account. Orders on it remain visible but no longer count in state calculations.
You only change the reason
You only change the reason
The state stays the same (Cancelled stays Cancelled), only the precision changes. The impact is limited to reports by reason, not to main indicators.
You want to also touch up history
You want to also touch up history
If you need to correct a historical mapping (for example: a stage poorly associated for months distorting your past reports), contact support — it’s an operation to do with assistance.
